As we said, to get Snapspine Cotton in Wild Hearts, you must find and defeat Snapspine Wisps. These little creatures are small woolen balls of a grayish-silver color. The first time, you will encounter these creatures in the highlands of Natsukodachi Isle after reaching the Second Chapter. But once you unlock Chapter 3, Snapspine Wisps will start spawning in Akikure Canyon.
Snapspine Wisps often live in small packs of 3-6 and are relatively friendly. But if you attack one of them, be prepared to get hit with snow-white needles from the whole flock. As we said earlier, the favorite habitats of these creatures are rocky areas, so head to the appropriate locations.
