Sylveon is one of the several evolutions that can come from Eevee in the Pokemon games and anime. Sylveon is the fairy-type evolution and was introduced in the sixth generation of the video game. When it comes to Pokemon Go, some people are looking to find a Sylveon to add to their team sooner rather than later. Considering that, we wrote out how to get Sylveon in Pokemon Go and whether or not it can be shiny.
Can You Get Sylveon In Pokemon Go?
Yes, you can definitely get a Sylveon in Pokemon Go. You cant simply find one in the wild, going from PokeStop to PokeStop, but you can evolve it from Eevee, it just requires a few extra steps. In order to ensure that your Eevee evolves into a Sylveon and not one of its other evolutions, you have to make it your Buddy and then raise its hearts to 70. There is also another trick that you can use to guarantee that Eevee evolves into Sylveon.
If you change the name of your Eevee before it has evolved to Kira, then give it 25 Eevee Candy, the Evolve button will become visible. Clicking on it will evolve Eevee into Sylveon, guaranteeing you the Pokemon. If neither of the above is correct, then you are risking the chance that Eevee will evolve into a different evolution instead of the intended Sylveon.
All Sylveon Stats And Weaknesses
Considering the fact that Sylveon is a fairy-type Pokemon, they are weak to Poison-type and Steel-type moves and are even more affected by these types in cloudy weather. The following are the stats that Sylveon has in-game:
- Max CP
- 2470
- Attack
- 203
- Defense
- 205
- Stamina
- 216
Can Sylveon Be Shiny?
Getting a shiny Sylveon is not impossible to do, but it can definitely be difficult to do. You’ll first need to ensure that your Eevee is shiny first. You can’t have a normal Eevee and then expect it to evolve into a shiny Sylveon. You’ll probably need to grind for this as there is only a 5% chance that any Eevee you click on is going to be shiny. Just click on every one that you see and participate in any events that might feature Eevee moving forward if you’re looking to grab this Pokemon. Then, you’ll have your own Sylveon in Pokemon GO that’s shiny.
