Want to know how to get Teddiursa Claw in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Although some Pokémon naturally have the best movesets, this is extremely rare. Therefore, you will have to hunt different Pokémon to collect materials, craft TMs and train your Pokémon with new moves. There are over 170 unique TMs in the game, and if your choice is Charm or Metal Claw, you will need the Teddiursa Claw. Like other crafting materials, you can get Teddiursa Claw from Pokémon of the same name, but first, you have to find them. But our guide is here to help you and tell you how to get Teddiursa Claw in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Get Teddiursa Claw in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To get Teddiursa Claw in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must defeat or capture Teddiursa or its second evolution Ursaring in their habitats. Luckily, you won’t have to look far since little Teddiursa lives only in a few places. Visit the forests in East Province (Area One) or South Province (Area Five), look under the trees, and you will spot some cubs with a moon on their foreheads.

As they grow stronger and evolve into Ursaring, these Pokémon migrate to central and northeastern Paldea. Of course, hunting Ursaring for getting Teddiursa Claw is not a good idea, as they are pretty strong. But if you want to find these Pokémon, you should visit Glaseado Mountain and North Province (Area One-Two).

As we said, the best choice for farming Teddiursa Claw is Teddiursa. But to do it even more effectively, choose the right opponents. Since Teddiursa and Ursaring are Normal-type Pokémon, they are only weak against Fighting-type moves and take 2x damage from these. On the other hand, you should avoid using Pokemon with Ghost-type attacks, as the Teddiursa family is immune to these attacks.
