Temple is the hottest new thing in Warframe, being the 60th character as well. The problem is, he’s not exactly as accessible to newbies or even intermediate players, unlike other new additions to the game. Here’s how to get Temple in Warframe if you really want that David Bowie lookalike (do keep in mind that the “David Bowie” appearance is Temple’s human skin, sold separately).

Sadly, you’re going to have to grind for Temple if you want to get him without spending either real money or Platinum (which can be obtained for free). Here’s the list of requirements you have to go through.

  1. Finish the Warframe 1999 questline (and its prerequisites).
  2. Rank up your Hex Standing to Rank 4 – Hot & Fresh (you can do this through Bounties).
  3. Go to the POM PC and select the mission section.
  4. Play Solstice Square – Stage Defense.

You can farm all of Temple’s parts from Stage Defense with varying drop rates. Each Stage Defense round has a chance to drop Temple parts; here’s the estimated drop chance table, each Rotation counts as a round (3 waves per round):

Temple PartRotation A drop chanceRotation B drop chanceRotation C drop chance

Pity System

Now, if you don’t get any Temple part or the Temple part you need, the good news is that there’s a pity system in place. Rounds in Stage Defense in Solstice Square will reward a specific currency called Beating Heartstrings that you can take to Flare in Hollvania Mall to purchase the specific Temple part or weapon component for his signature weapon.

Don’t forget that you’ll still need to craft these components in your Foundry and fulfill their crafting requirements. There’s also a waiting time for crafting so it can take a few days before you get Temple.

Now, the good news is that even newbies or intermediate players who can’t access the Warframe 1999 expansion yet can still get Temple. Temple is available on the in-game Market for 370 Platinum.

You can either get Platinum in Warframe by buying it using real money or trading with other players. You might want to wait for a login discount coupon for Platinum to maximize your purchase. Getting Temple through Platinum is no doubt faster and comes with other benefits such as:

  • Included Orokin Catalyst (mod slot capacity upgrade)
  • Included Warframe slot

Once you have Temple regardless of the method you used, check out our hot Temple build guide for Warframe so you can be cool (figuratively).
