Daedalus Stormbow in Terraria is a very powerful weapon that was introduced to the game a long time ago, namely with the 1.3 updates. Even though this bow consumes many arrows and cannot be picked up later, this did not become a problem for gamers. When used with Holy Arrows, the weapon deals huge damage. Daedalus Stormbow was fixed, but the combination with Holy Arrows is still very effective. Below you can see the characteristics of the bow.

How to Obtain Daedalus Stormbow in Terraria

As we said above, Daedalus Stormbow cannot be crafted; it only drops from a specific boss, namely Hallowed Mimic. There are two ways you can find this boss:

  1. Try to find it in Underground Hallow.
  2. Summon it with a chest and Key of Light.

We do not recommend using the first option. It may take you a long time, or you may not meet him at all. Another disadvantage of such searches is that the arena will be uncomfortable for fighting because you never know where you will meet the boss.

The second to get the Daedalus Stormbow in Terraria option is much better. You can choose the place for the fight yourself or build a special arena for it. And as said above, to summon the boss, you will need a standard chest and the Key of Light.

Now let’s take a look at getting Daedalus Stormbow in Terraria by defeating Hallowed Mimic Boss. This boss is quite strong and fast, and you’ll need to try hard to defeat him. To summon him, use the Workbench to create a Key of Light from 15 Souls of Light. You’ll also need a standard chest to put the Key of Light in. Once you’ve crafted all the necessary items, head to an area where you can fight him. We recommend using an open area, as the boss is quite fast, and you will need to dodge a lot. When you find such an area, place the chest and then place the Key of Light in it. After you leave the chest interface, it will turn into a Hallowed Mimic. Keep in mind that only the Key of Light should be in the chest; nothing will happen if there are other items.

After you start fighting the Hallowed Mimic, try to move all the time and never try to fight it in close combat. The boss will constantly try to catch up to you to deal damage. Among the enemy’s skills is a jump, with which he will land directly on you if you stand in one place. Also, try not to waste ammo when the chest is closed, because then it is immune to damage. When you are at a far enough distance, Hallowed Mimic can make one or more dashes to get closer to you and deal damage. When you see him doing this, run in the opposite direction, or try to fly around it.

Indeed, defeating Hallowed Mimic gives you a 25% chance of getting Daedalus Stormbow in Terraria. It may take a few attempts to obtain the bow, but it is worth it.
