Despite the fascinating plot and a ton of side content, you should not forget about your character’s appearance. Of course, the beauty and functionality of your ships come first, but a good costume can add a little variety to your gaming experience. Luckily, Starfield offers a ton of unique spacesuits and outfits, and the First Officer Outfit is one of them. With simple colors and a stylish look, this suit is one of the best outfits for beautiful photos near landmarks. And we are here to help you and tell you how to get the First Officer Outfit in Starfield.

First of all, it is worth noting that you can get First Officer Outfit in Starfield in two ways, but this largely depends on your luck:

  • Firstly, you can get this outfit as a random reward for defeating Ruffian Leader.
  • You can also find a new set of these clothes during the On the Run mission.

If you haven’t progressed too far in the story, you should try your luck by challenging Ruffian Leader. You only need to accept the Deputized quest from Freestar Collective Faction and reach the final battle. The search and fight with the Ruffians on the Waggoner Farm will not take much time, so you’ll soon meet the Ruffian Leader. Defeat it and search the corpse, and you’ll get the First Officer Outfit if you’re lucky.

Since the chance is far from 100%, we advise you to resort to a little trick. Once you arrive at Waggoner Farm, save your game. Next, complete the final part of the quest and search for the Leader’s corpse. And if you’re unlucky, load your save and try again. Probably, 2-3 attempts will be enough to get the First Officer Outfit.

If you have completed the Deputized quest and do not want to return to it, you can get the First Officer outfit during the On The Run mission. You won’t miss this mission, as it is part of Freestar Collective’s questline. You only need to get to Marco’s ship and find a small room behind the Expert-lock door. Look around this room, and you will quickly find a container with a First Officer Outfit on one of the shelves.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the First Officer Outfit in Starfield. This clothing can become one of your favorites in your arsenal as it looks stylish.
