Woodland Stable
As you may know by now, you can’t get the Froggy Leggings without first having gotten the Froggy Sleeve. There is no need to worry if you haven’t reached that far yet. We have a great guide that can help with getting those initial four quests done. For the remaining few, start with Woodland Stable. If you’ve located the Great Fairy Fountain in this area already, you’re in luck. The Woodland Stable is just south of it. If you haven’t, no worries. The Woodland Stable is just on the southeast of the Great Hyrule Forest.
To get the Froggy Leggings in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you need to complete this quest with each stable you find. After talking to Penn, who asks Link to help a group of traveling musicians. To help them, fix their cart with Ultrahand, before attaching the cart to the horse with a Harness.
Once you help them out, help the group move to the Great Fairy just northwest of the stable. The troupe will start to play music when you get close, causing the Fairy to appear. After you do this, talk to Penn again to receive your reward.
Wetland Stable
At the Wetland Stable, talk to Penn. He reports that there is a man named Izra that Zelda borrowed from. According to Izra, Zelda borrowed many of the stable’s tools but never ended up returning them. After hearing his tale, Link will need to cross a river that he can’t swim around on his own. Using the materials on the bank, you can use Ultrahand to craft a simple raft to get across.
Once you build the raft, talk to Izra so that they can join you on the raft. Izra will guide you downriver to a woman named Magda. Once you reach her, after a short dialogue between the two, the mission is over. Talk to Penn to get your reward.
Riverside Stable
Find Penn at the Riverside Stable to continue getting the Froggy Leggings in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. You’ll be told that a chef is waiting for his friends, but none of them came at the specified time. The chef, Gotter, is who you’ll need to talk to behind the stable. The leader that Gotter is looking for is named Agus. Apparently, this entire group is skilled chefs who also happen to have a recipe created by Zelda.Â
Gotter tells Link that his friends usually take the route near the Owlan Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, you’ll encounter the group, unresponsive in their tents. To rouse them, Link will have to make Zelda’s Meat and Rice Bowl. After making the dish and rousing the chef group, they’ll thank you, and the quest is over.
Dueling Peaks Stable
At Dueling Peaks stable, you’ll be told that the Yiga Clan has kidnapped Princess Zelda. The only clue you’ll receive is that it has to do with the ‘twins.’ This hint is referring to the Dueling Peaks, which you’ll have to climb to get to where Zelda supposedly is.
Once you reach the top of Dueling Peaks, you’ll notice someone being held hostage inside a cage. When you reach the person that you’re led to believe is Zelda, she will turn into a Yiga. Defeat the Yiga clan, and Penn will show up shortly afterward to give Link his reward.
Highland Stable
After this final quest, you’ll have the Froggy Leggings in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. At Highland Stable, Penn informs Link that everyone nearby has been hearing strange voices as of late. Penn suggests that they wait until nightfall to investigate. You can use the campfire to wait. Once it’s night, both of them go to Fural Plain, just above Highland Stable.Â
If you follow the voices, you’ll be led to a well in the middle of a field. Dropping into the well reveals that it’s hardly a well at all, more like a cavern. And the voice wasn’t a ghost or anything, but a woman in the cavern who loved to use the acoustics. After discovering this, Penn will finally reward you with the Froggy Leggings.
