Hogwarts Legacy is the game every fan of Harry Potter wanted for many years. The game has a big map that is filled with different mysteries, locked rooms, chests, and secret areas. While most of the locked doors can be unlocked with the Alohomora spell, there are a few that spell doesn’t work and you need the actual key. So here is the guide on how to get the Key of Admittance in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to Get the Key of Admittance in Hogwarts Legacy
If you have wandered around Hogwarts, then there is a good chance you’ve reached the room of the headmaster, and in there, found a strange door that cannot be opened, even with the Alohomora spell.
To open this door, you will need the Key of Admittance. This key is located in the room Headmaster Black and can’t be accessed unless you progress through the story. So if you want to stick with the rules of the game, wait until you reach the place where you get into Headmaster’s office and then grab the Key of Admittance.
There is also another way that you can get the key, but it requires some other skills and items. You must have already unlocked the broom and also reached level 3 of the Alohomora spell.
What you want to do is fast-travel to the Quad Courtyard Floo Flame in the Grand Staircase section. Then mount your broom and ascend to the top of Grand Staircase tower.
There you should be able to spot a staircase that you can land from your broom. There you will find two doors that can only be unlocked if you have reached the Level 3 Alohomora spell.
Unlock the door at the very top and then you will have access to Headmaster Black’s office. In his office, you will be able to find the Key to Admittance. Now that you have the key, you can unlock the door and grab all the goodies inside it.
