To get the Plasma Cutter in Remnant 2, you must visit the desert world of N’Erud, obtain the Navigator Helm, and use it to pass the Navigation Room scanning. The difficulty lies in the procedurally generated world of Remnant 2, which is why the location with the Navigator Helm may not spawn in N’Erud. In this case, you must run through this dimension again using Adventure Mode. Otherwise, finding this weapon is a simple process, and the tips below will make it even easier.
To get the Navigator Helm, you must kill the zombie of the same name in the Extraction Hub location. We have a detailed guide on how to get the Navigator Helm in Remnant 2, but in short, here’s what you should do:
- First, visit the Extraction Hub and head towards the loud sounds of thuds.
- Find a giant mechanical piston with a hole in the ground. Wait until the piston rises and goes down into the hole.
- Kill local zombies and go deep into this place to find Navigator Zombie. Visually, it is almost the same as the rest, so kill everyone, and you will get the Navigator Helm after a maximum of 5 minutes.
Plasma Cutter Location
Once you’ve got the Navigator Helm, walk around N’Erud again and find the big crashed ship. The location of this structure is also random due to the procedural generation of the world. Enter the crashed ship through the hole in the hull, after which you will find yourself right in front of the locked door of the Navigation Room. All you have to do is put on the Navigator Helm and go to the door. The scanner will scan you again, the door will open, and you can pick up the Plasma Cutter.
The Plasma Cutter is an excellent damage dealer for boss fights and clearing an area of hordes of weak monsters. Although the base damage of this gun is low, the colossal RPS makes up for that. In addition, the built-in Mod of this weapon allows you to temporarily increase damage dealt up to x 3 times, thereby overthrowing even the most terrifying enemies.
