This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

While Pokemon Scarlet and Violet adds many new features that freshen up the long-running monster-catching series’ gameplay, some items from past games made a comeback as well. Many of them are Hold items you can give to your Pokemon to raise their stats during or after a battle. This guide will tell you the location where you can get Power Bracer, a Hold item that is useful for “EV training” your Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Where to Get Power Bracer in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

“An item to be held by a Pokemon. It prioritizes the Attack stat to grow more after every battle in exchange for reducing the holder’s Speed by 50%.”

Power Bracer can be easily bought from all Delibird Present shops for 10,000 Pokedollars. The Delibird Present shops can be found in three major cities of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet‘s Paldea region:

  • Cascarrafa.
  • Levincia.
  • And Mesagoza.

Power Bracer is a Hold item that can be given to your Pokemon. While holding it, your Pokemon will gain +8 Attack Effort Values after each battle, but at the cost of halved Speed stat during battle. For more details on how Effort Value or EV works, read all about the topic in our How to EV Train Your Pokemon guide.

Some items you can buy in Delibird Present will only be unlocked after you clear some parts of the game, like beating specific Pokemon Gyms. Still, the Power Bracer is instantly available from the beginning of the game. If you carry enough money (somehow), you can even purchase Power Bracer as soon as your enter Mesagoza for the first time. In case you need money to buy it, we also have a How to Farm Money Fast guide, so don’t forget to check it out.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
