Are you tired of being slowed down in the snow in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Maintaining your temperature in colder climates is one thing, but being forced to move slower is frustrating. With that in mind, you will want the Snow Boots. There is one secret spot to find these useful items. Here is where to find the Snow Boots in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Oddly enough, the only place you can find Snow Boots in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is Gerudo Town. While this town is located in the middle of the Gerudo Desert, you can find that the Secret Club sells a pair of Snow Boots for 1,300 Rupees. If they do not appear here right away, you may need to buy a couple of the store’s other items for them to appear.

If you have not entered the Secret Club before, this store only sells Voe clothing. You will need to find the store from the underground tunnels and use Ascend to rise into it. After that, you can destroy the crates blocking the front door and walk in next time.

After you have the Snow Boots, you will move faster while walking and running through the snow. Typically, you will have a noticeable slowdown in these areas, but this will make your movement feel like it normally does. Unfortunately, wearing them does not increase your temperature, so you will need other cold resistance from food or armor to survive walking around Mount Lanayru or the Hebra Mountains.

After you have bought the Snow Boots, you can upgrade them at a Great Fairy. The upgrade will only improve the defensive value of this armor, though. It will not increase your snow walking speed more or give any additional benefits. If you want to change their color, you can also dye them in Hateno.

The Snow Boots help make life more bearable in Tears of the Kingdom’s snowy areas. Exploring these parts of the map while looking for Shrines or various other things can be slow going normally. If you combine this with cold resistance and attack damage while cold, Link will become a powerful snow weapon.
