If you want to buy the Stealth Outfit in Tears of the Kingdom but you don’t have enough rupees, follow these steps and get it on sale. Tears of the Kingdom is full of outfits that will boost your stats. From stamina-enhancing armor to gliding outfits, ToK has got you covered. The Stealth Outfit will help you sneak away from enemies more easily. You will also be able to prepare a delicious menu when you catch lizards or frogs and throw them into the Cooking Pot. But to get it for a cheaper price, you’ll have to make a nice gesture to the vendor.

Your journey starts with a visit to Kakariko Village, a vibrant hub that houses the Armor Clothing Shop. This is where your desires for the Stealth Outfit can be fulfilled. However, if you keep a tight grip on your wallet, you won’t actually have to spend 5000 rupees on each piece.

How To Reduce the Price of the Stealth Outfit

Inside the Armor Clothing Shop, you’ll encounter Claree, the owner. Speak with her, and she will disclose the unfortunate news of her grandmother’s illness. With the desperate need to care for her beloved relative, Claree has resorted to raising the prices.

Moved by Claree’s plight — and a desperate need for that cool-looking stealth outfit — you extend a helping hand. She directs you to her sister, Lasli, who’s atop the hill near the Armor Shop. Speak with her to start the Gloom-Borne Illness quest and lower the Stealth Outfit’s price in Tears of the Kingdom.

How To Get the Ingredients for the Gloom-Borne Illness Porridge

You will need three essential ingredients to craft the special porridge: Hyllian Rice, Fresh Milk, and Sundelion. Make your way to Hateno Village and visit the General Store to obtain Hyllian Rice and Fresh Milk in exchange for your rupees. As for the Sundelion, it can be found in either Hyrule Fields or on the Sky Islands.

Once you have gathered all the necessary ingredients, locate a Cooking Pot and prepare a dish known as Sunny Porridge. This concoction possesses remarkable healing properties. After you have successfully cooked the porridge, speak to Lasli. She will administer it to her ailing grandmother. After a cutscene, the prices of the Enchantment Armor Shop will be much lower.

Make your way back to the Armor Clothing Shop in Kakariko Village. To your delight, you will see a significant decrease in the prices of the  Stealth Outfit. Claree, now unburdened by her financial troubles, has generously reduced the cost of the complete outfit to a mere 1800 rupees.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
