Stardew Valley is not only a game about farming but also about home decoration. Players can find over a hundred different pieces of furniture to decorate their homes. However, if you want to collect them all, you will need a lot of time since some items, such as the Tea Set, are very rare in Stardew Valley. To tell the truth, the chance of getting it is about 1% or even less. However, there is a little trick that can increase your chances of success.

Players can purchase most furniture from Robin at the Carpenter’s Shop. It can also sometimes be found in the Traveling Cart merchant assortment. However, none of this will help you get the Tea Set in Stardew Valley.

Unfortunately, the Tea Set is not dropped from monsters or given as a quest reward. The only way to get it is to visit Feast of the Winter Star. It is a festival that takes place once a year in winter on the 25th.

During it, all villagers, including you, take part in secret gift-giving. And this is where things get tricky, as the Tea Set can be obtained as a gift at this Stardew Valley festival. But of course, not all characters will give this particular piece of furniture. Only adult residents of the village, except Willy, Robin, Clint, Marnie, and Evelyn, can do this.

Besides the fact that each character randomly chooses from possible gifts, you will not find out who your secret gift giver is until the festival itself. Because of this, many players who spent several hundred hours in Stardew Valley never received the Tea Set. However, there is a little trick that can help you.

Choose the Right Time for Feast of the Winter Star

Typically, you have one attempt per year to get a Tea Set in Stardew Valley. However, several players have found a pattern in the villagers’ choice of gifts for you. Depending on the time you visit the festival, your secret gift will change. The event lasts from 9 am to 2 pm so you should try to visit it several times with a difference of about 10 minutes. Of course, for this, you will have to reset every time. While this doesn’t guarantee you’ll get a Tea Set this year, you greatly increase your chances of doing so.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Tea Set in Stardew Valley. It is one of the rarest items in the game, so be prepared to spend dozens of hours getting it. And while you are here, please take a look at our guide on how to install mods in Stardew Valley.

Stardew Valley is available on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
