This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Frenzy Plant is a Special Grass-type Move in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that deals 150 Power with 90 Accuracy on a single target. The damage done by this attack is Super Effective on Water-, Ground-, and Rock-type opponents; however, the Move comes with a substantial drawback that causes the caster to become unable to attack during the following turn. As a result, Frenzy Plant might better serve as a finishing blow or one-shot attack rather than a basic offensive Move. The Grass- and Dark-type Meowscarada can utilize Frenzy Plant fairly well, but the Magician Pokémon requires the Move’s TM to learn it.

Finding the Frenzy Plant TM in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Finding the Cave Entrance to the Location of the TM 155 Frenzy Plant Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The only known way of obtaining the Frenzy Plant TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is finding it via exploration. More specifically, the TM recipe is located within a hidden cave in the northwestern corner of North Province (Area One). The cave’s entrance can be found on the narrow grassy ridge bordering the Glaseado Mountain region.

Below is a list of steps, sourced from YouTuber GameLoc, that Trainers can take to reach the Frenzy Plant TM’s location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet:

  • Step 1: Travel to the Area One Pokécenter of the North Province.
  • Step 2: Follow the trail northward; after the dirt road ends, continue up the slope until reaching a tree overlooking the North Paldean Sea.
  • Step 3: Go to the ledge to the left of the tree and leap across the gap.
  • Step 4: After landing on one of the small stone platforms, players must carefully jump onto the ridge ahead.
  • Step 5: Go down the grassy slope to the northwestern end of the mountain shelf.
  • Step 6: Enter the small cave entrance and investigate the back left of the small grotto to find the Frenzy Plant TM

Once players have acquired the recipe for the Frenzy Plant in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, they can use the following materials below to craft the TM at a TM Machine:
