How to Get TM025 Facade in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

If you want to teach companions Facade in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you need to get TM025. This TM is not located out in the wild though. So, we will show you the only way to get it in the game. From there, you can unlock the recipe to craft it at any TM Machine. We’ll also detail everything you need to make TM025 so you can get it whenever you wish.

TM025 Facade Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Introduced early on in the 3rd Generation, Facade is a Normal-type move. This attack relates to other effects an opponent Pokémon has. The power of Facade will double if the opponent is burned, poisoned, or paralyzed.

There is no Pokémon that naturally knows this move. In fact, only Squawkabilly learns it from leveling up to Level 34. So, if you want to use it, you need to find TM025 Facade in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Thankfully, most Pokémon can learn this TM from Houndoom to Torkoal.

But like we said, TM025 is not lying around in a yellow Poké Ball in the Overworld. Instead, you must earn this. Go to the town of Medali located in West Province. You just have to defeat the Medali Gym Leader Larry. Once you do, you are rewarded with TM025 Facade.

Before you can battle Larry and get TM025 Facade in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you have to finish the Medali Gym Challenge. This challenge urges you to find the secret menu item at the local restaurant. To get this, do the following tasks:

1. Battle Adara
   • Adara is a child near the restaurant. After defeating her, she’ll lead you to the hint that the local ice cream shop has an odd item. The item is grilled rice balls with a lemon on top.
2. Battle Gisela
   • She’s on the outskirts of town. Defeating her gets you the hint to check out the colosseum she stands by. Go to the sign by the gated off area to interact with it. It’ll say Fire Blast.
3. Battle Santiago
   • Check out the restaurant strip to find him. Once defeated, he’ll tell you to listen to the blue bird Pokémon. This will be Talkabilly who sits on the pilot’s head. The Pokémon says medium.

Once you do all this, you’re closer to TM025 Facade in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Head to the waiter inside the local restaurant and repeat the bolded words above to them. This will gain you access to battle Larry.

How to Craft TM025 Facade in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

When you win and earn TM025, you can then craft it at any TM Machine. The crafting recipe is listed below:

• 5,000 LP
• x3 Stantler Hair
• x3 Komala Claw
• x3 Tinkatink Hair

For Stantler Hair, head to South Province (Area Five) and battle Stantler. This gets you closer to crafting TM025 Facade in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

With Komala Claw, you want to find and battle Komala. They are scattered in multiple areas:

• East Province (Areas One, Two)
• South Province (Area Four)
• West Province (Area Three)
• Tagtree Thicket

Finally, to craft TM025 Facade, you need Tinkatink Hair. This comes from Tinkatink, who resides in numerous areas:

• Asado Desert
• Casseroya Lake
• Glaseado Mountain
• The Great Crater of Paldea
• North Province (Area One)
• East Province (Area Two)
• South Province (Areas One-Six)
• West Province (Areas One, Three)

TM025 Facade does cost quite a bit of League Points, though. So, just save up as best as you can once you unlock the crafting recipe, so you’re ready to make it.
