Receiving Eviolite as a Reward in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Eviolite is a rare Held Item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that bolsters its holder’s Defense and Special Defense by 50%, making this item an incredibly powerful defensive tool for combat. However, the primary drawback is that Eviolite’s effect only applies to Pokémon, which can still evolve but have yet to evolve. For clarification, this statement means that if a pocket monster has an evolution available, it can receive the buff from this Held Item. Level does not matter, so an Eviolite holder can reach Level 100 and still receive the Held Item’s benefits as long as it does not evolve.

Finding Eviolite in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

There are two ways to get the Eviolite Held Item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The first method is completing the main campaign by clearing all the questlines. Once this feat has been fulfilled, the Delibird Presents Branch in Mesagoza will have Eviolite in stock for ₽50,000 each during the postgame.

The second method to obtain Eviolite in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is a one-time deal that involves completing a challenge in Area Five of the South Province. Similar to how fans must clear Trainer Battles in West Province (Area Three) to get the Amulet Coin, players must find and beat seven NPC Trainers in South Province (Area Five) to acquire Eviolite from the zone’s Pokécenter Pokémon League Rep. However, searching for each of these NPCs can be challenging, especially when some of the nearby Trainers are part of South Province (Area One).

  • Step 1: Starting from Area Five’s Pokécenter, go northeast along the beach to find Sofia the Waitress.
  • Step 2: If players go up the nearby slope to the plateau north of the Pokécenter, they will encounter Ainhoa the Model.
  • Step 3: Enter the nearby marshland and investigate the northern section to find Iban the Poke Maniac.
  • Step 4: Leave the marsh and follow the trail to the northwest to find Federico the Poke Maniac near the cliffside river.
  • Step 5: Travel westward to find Antoni the Black Belt near a small hill.
  • Step 6: Go north and enter the badlands south of Area Three.
  • Step 7: Wind around to the clearing southeast of the pond in this zone to find Alain the Student.
  • Step 8: Finally go up the slope to the east to find Ricard the Janitor on the ridge.
  • Step 9: Return to the Pokémon League Rep to receive Eviolite in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch.
