Palworld features various medicines you can create at a Medicine Workbench, and among them is the Mind Control Meds. Like other healing items, this drug does not heal health and instead treats a certain condition on your Pal. Unfortunately, the game is not very clear about it, and some players may still get confused despite reading the description. If you are curious about how this medicine works, our guide can explain this topic in detail.

What Do Mind Control Meds Do in Palworld?

Mind Control Meds is an end-game item that you can only craft at an Electric Medicine Workbench. You can build this appliance once you reach Level 43 in Palworld, and you’ll need a Power Generator to power it. Here is the list of materials required to make this structure:

  • Carbon Fiber x20
  • Refined Ingot x40
  • Circuit Board x10

Once you have your Electric Medicine Workbench, you can craft Mind Control Meds by combining these ingredients:

  • Refined Ingot x10
  • Horn x10
  • Bone x5
  • Pal Fluids x3

According to the item description, this drug can be used to control dissidents in your base. Frustratingly, the game does not elaborate on what dissidents mean. The most straightforward answer is that Mind Control Meds can be fed to Pals who are suffering from status ailments. There are various negative status effects in Palworld, such as Depressed and Weakened.

If you give this drug to a Pal with one of these ailments, you can instantly cure its disease. Besides removing the negative status effect, the Mind Control Meds will also fully recover your Pal’s Sanity, allowing it to work effectively.

Here are the steps you can take to administer Mind Control Meds in Palworld:

  1. Approach the target Pal with a status effect.
  2. Click the Pal to open a radial menu and select Feed.
  3. Pick the Mind Control Meds and wait for the Pal to eat the drug.

The Mind Control Meds is a powerful and useful medicine in Palworld. However, the ingredients required to craft one can be costly. Luckily, there are other methods you can use to prevent your Pals from getting a status ailment.

First, you can craft Large Pal Beds so your Pals will recover more SAN at night. Then, you can also feed them high-quality food instead of just Berries. Lastly, you can build several Hot Springs at your base to allow your Pals to relax.
