This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Although as you progress throughย Coral Island, you can find many different materials, not everyone is as valuable and easily obtained as Resin. Indeed, in addition to the fact that Resin can be a good source of income, allย NPCs will be happyย to accept this material as a gift. It means that the more you can collect, the better. But how to do it? You only need a special tool and a couple of young Pine trees, which can be found in the wild or planted on your farm.

Coral Island: Farming Resin

As we said, all you need to farm Resin in Coral Island is a couple of Pine trees and Tap, a specific device for collecting sap from trees. Of course, it won’t take long to find several trees in almost any forest, but creating a Tap can take some time. After all, to create this device, you will have to reach at least Foraging level 4. Next, you can go to the in-game crafting menu and craft a Tap by spending x50 Wood and x3 Bronze Bar.

Once you have completed the prerequisites, go to any Pine tree and interact with it to place a Tap. Given the properties of Resin, it will not drip too quickly, so you will have to wait three in-game days before you can harvest it. So it would be logical to plant some Pine trees on your farm. Fortunately, you only need a few Pine cones and a couple of cells of free space.

Additionally, we have a few details about Resin farming that you should know about:

  1. One Tap is placed on the tree, so you will need one for each tree.

  2. Pine trees grow all year round, which means you can farm Resin regardless of the season.

  3. Every tree is an endless source of Resin. So you only need to remember to harvest.

How To Use Resin in Coral Island

Once you have some Resin, one of your first decisions will be to sell this valuable material. Fortunately, the price of 145 coins per piece and year-round farming make this material a great product to sell. But if you don’t have money problems, you can give Resin to any Coral Island resident. Although this is an odd gift, any NPC would be happy to receive this.

In addition to everything, Resin is an excellent building material you can use in one of the following ways.
