After completing a Natlan side quest in Genshin Impact, you may come across the first piece of Shattered Night Jade inside a treasure chest. This item is quite mysterious since it is said to be weightless and enveloped in chilling flames. According to its description, it may reveal something extraordinary if you manage to get the full piece. If you want to get the complete Night Jade, you have to go to three locations in Natlan and complete the related side quests. It’s a pretty long process, so prepare to spend several hours.
Where To Get Shattered Night Jade in Genshin Impact
To get the full Night Jade item, you have to collect three shards of this quest object in Genshin Impact. Here are the locations of all Shattered Night Jades:
- Disable the machine at the Phlogiston Research Center.
- Complete the To the Night, What is the Night’s world quest.
- Complete the Between Pledge and Forgettance quest chain.
Phlogiston Research Center
The easiest shard to get is at the Phlogiston Research Center. You can reach this area by heading northeast from the Ancestral Temple. There will be numerous Saurians being trapped inside small cages. Your goal will be to free them by disabling the machine at the center of this area.
To the Night, What is the Night Quest
The second location of the Shattered Night Jade is inside the underground chamber at the Ancestral Temple. You must finish the To the Night, What is the Night world quest, which you can trigger by completing the three Relay Ball puzzles.
Between Pledge and Forgettance Chain Quest
This is the hardest Shattered Night Jade to obtain since you need to finish many side quests. If you want to start the Between Pledge and Forgettance chain quest, you may need to complete the Beneath the Crystal Rock mission first. You can trigger this world quest by visiting the Sulfurous Veins area.
Afterward, you can revisit the Children of Echoes territory and speak with Manqu and Pacal. You will start a very long chain quest that requires you to explore a dungeon filled with puzzles. Not only that, but you will also need to fight a strong boss at the end, so you have to be prepared.
How To Use Night Jade in Genshin Impact
You can use the complete Night Jade at a magical tree on the south side of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. The tree is enveloped with a cold white flame, and you can find many Saurians near it. Once you insert the quest item, you can enter a secret arena.
Here, you can challenge eight Nightsoul Warriors that you must defeat within one minute. To start the battle, speak with the cat spirit sitting in front of one of the chests. Although your opponents don’t hit that hard, they have beefy HP bars that make it hard for you to take them down quickly. Even my Archon team failed to beat them during my first attempt.
I recommend using a pure attack team. You are racing against time here, so you want to use your best DPS. Eating food that boosts ATK and CRIT Rate is also acceptable.
