Finding a way to craft, or even farm Vibrant Ink in Nightingale is a pretty big necessity if you feel like traveling beyond a Provisioner Realm. Of course, you could just stick to the easy Realms, but where’s the fun in that? The farther you get, the more advanced and interesting structures you unlock, along with useful tools that will help you through your adventures through the Fae wilds later on. Whatever you choose to do, If you plan on at least completing Puck’s questline, you’ll need to get your hands on some Vibrant Ink so you can make your way into a Herbarium Realm. Let’s take a look at how to farm and craft Vibrant Ink in Nightingale.

Before we get started, you’ll need to get your hands on a Refined Mortar Station, which can be built using materials crafted from a Brazier and Refined Saw Table. The Refined Mortar Station is not only where we will craft the Vibrant Ink itself in Nightingale, but also where we will craft one of the components required to make it.

If you’re interested in farming Vibrant Ink, you’ll have to be ready for quite a bit of fighting. Up until this point in your gameplay, the only way to obtain Gunpowder has been to get it off defeated enemies in Forest Realms that spawn around Points of Interest. Honestly, that’s still the only way for now. However, as far as Ink, you can craft some Alchemical Ink using Refined Pigments, which are crafted using herbs and food found throughout your Realm, like berries or mushrooms. Once you get a decent bit of materials, slap them all together in a Refined Mortar Station, and you’re good to go.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
