To discover and explore new biomes in Terraria will inevitably result in you finding unique and common materials, such as the Vines. During your travels, you may encounter small and big enemies, such as the Queen Bee. This time, we will have to travel the World of Terraria to face some literal Man Eaters and live to tell the tale. So, pack up and select your favorite items; you are going to need them. Let’s go over how to get Vines in Terraria.

Where To Find Vines in Terraria

To get Vines in Terraria, you must travel to the Underground Jungle biome. To do so, go to the opposite side of the map, using the Dungeon as a reference location. You will then have to dig to the halfway point between your original spawn and the ocean. Be wary of encountering The Corruption or The Crimson along the way.

Once you arrive at the Underground Jungle in Terraria, you must hunt down Man Eaters. These plant monsters are attached to the ground and will try to eat you. To defeat them, you can either attack their head or destroy the block they are connected to. Performing the latter will prevent any loot from spawning once you slay them. Accordingly, attack their head until they’ve been taken down. Man Eaters have a 50% chance to drop a Vine. This is the only way to collect Vines in Terraria, so you must keep farm Man Eaters to grind them.

Once you have collected some Vines, you can use them to craft several items and weapons in Terraria. You can use them to make the Ivy Whip or Jungle Pants of the Jungle Armor set to increase your max mana. Another blueprint using Vines is the Amazon. This decently powered yoyo can easily replace the Malaise and the Artery. We’ve listed every crafting recipe for Vines in Terraria below.

Using our instructions above, collect the Vines but avoid being eaten by Man Eaters in Terraria. Ultimately, Vines are only usable for crafting since they have a low sale value, so be sure to visit the Underground Jungle from time to time.
