You can hold more items in Final Fantasy 16 by completing Weird Science and Even Weirder Science side quests. At the beginning of the game, you have only four inventory spaces where you can hold only four potions, three High Potions, two Stoneskin Tonics, and two Strength Tonics. However, soon you will realize you need to hold more items in Final Fantasy 16 to progress in the game.

How To Complete Weird Science Side Quest

You must complete the Out of the Shadow main quest to unlock this side quest. Once completed, meet Owain at Mid’s Dungeon in the Hideaway and accept the quest. He will ask you to bring three Bomb Ash by defeating the Bomb King. Bomb King Resides at Crock in Sanbreque in the Nothern part of the Imperial Chase. The exact location is shown on the above map.

Once you have defeated the Bomb King, collect Bomb Ash from his remains and bring them back to Owain. He will give you a Treated Potion Satchel and Black Blood, increasing Clive’s Inventory space to carry six Potions, Four High Potions, Three Strength Tonics, and Three Stonekin Tonics. Then you can hold more items in Final Fantasy 16.

How To Complete Even Weirder Science Side Quest

You will acquire this quest during Across the Narrow main quest. Revisit Owain, and he will ask you to collect three Spherical Echos from different locations. This is a relatively easy quest since their locations are shown on the map once you accept it.

Once you have collected these three Spherical Echos, bring them to Owain, and he will give you an Expanded Potion Satchel with a Goblin Coin. It will increase the inventory space to Eight portions making it big enough to carry five High Potions, four Stoneskin Tonics, and four Strength Tonics.
