If you want to figure out how to kill Death in Vampire Survivors, you’re going to have to put in a bit of work. By work, I mean you will have to travel to the literal ends of the map on all four sides. This can get pretty tedious, but it’s definitely worth it! Once you’ve gotten the evolved clock lancet and laurel, you will be virtually indestructible, and will be able to take down Red Death and even earn a new character. However, the process is a bit of a pain and you will have to get weapons and accessories in a very specific order. Keep reading to learn how to kill Death in Vampire Survivors.
Vampire Survivors: How to Kill Death
There are a few things you will absolutely need if you are going to attempt to take on Death with any intentions of willing the fight. First, there are a couple of characters that would be great for this fight. You can see which ones we use below, ranking from the most ideal at the top.
Recommended Characters: Ranked
- Krochi
- Gallo
- Dommario
The best character to use for this is Krochi, since he automatically starts out with an extra revive. This is fairly important since Red Death hits really hard. Even with evolved weapons, you will still need to have extra revives available, which brings us to our next topic: Arcanas.
Recommended Arcanas
- IV – Awake
This is really the only Arcana that you will need, but it is essential, given the fact that it gives you an addition 3 revives on top of the one you already get if you chose Krochi as your character.
Recommended Weapons
- Cross
- Clock Lancet
- Santa Water
- Peachone
- Ebony Wings
- King Bible
- Laurel
It’s important that you obtain your weapons in this order, otherwise you won’t be able to get both halves of the Peachone + Ebony Wings evolution and you will miss out on an entire weapon slot.
Now, it’s time to grab some accessories, and do be sure to grab them in the order they are listed as well.
Recommended Accessories
- Clover
- Atractorb
- Spellbinder
- Bracer
- Wings
- Duplicator
- Silver Ring
- Gold Ring
- Left Metaglio
- Right Metaglio
The last four accessories will be picked up after you collect all of the others, and can be found around the map. Be sure to level the last 4 all the way up to Level 9, along with the Clock Lancet and the Laurel, otherwise you will not be able to evolve them.
You can see a similar build here.
Now, it’s time to head into your fight at the 30 minute mark.
