However, the Fish can’t be just any ordinary catch from the Valley; it needs to be a Glittering Herring. Additionally, a fourth ingredient is required — a unique craftable quest item known as Dandelion Syrup.
Where To Find Glittering Herring in Dreamlight Valley
To catch a Glittering Herring in Dreamlight Valley, head to the Glade of Trust during a rainy day and fish at a golden pool. Fishing at golden spots during any other weather won’t work, meaning you’ll have to plead with the RNG gods that it’ll rain in-game so you can complete this Friendship Quest. Tip: If you’re playing via Game Pass Ultimate like me, booting up the game via Xbox Cloud Gaming takes little time and can be done anytime during the day, making it slightly easier to check how the weather is faring in the Valley.
