As someone living outside their home country, I understand what it’s like to long for a “taste of home.” That said, Elsa might not mind living with her fairytale neighbors in the Valley, but she misses a special dish from Arendelle that you must prepare for her Level 3 Friendship Quest. “What Home Feels Like” has you cook an Arendellian Fish Pie, which requires ingredients not used in normal Dreamlight Valley recipes.

Like a normal Fish Pie in Dreamlight Valley, the Arendellian Fish Pie is made with Wheat, Butter, and Fish. However, the Fish can’t be just any ordinary catch from the Valley; it needs to be a Glittering Herring. Additionally, a fourth ingredient is required — a unique craftable quest item known as Dandelion Syrup.

To catch a Glittering Herring in Dreamlight Valley, head to the Glade of Trust during a rainy day and fish at a golden pool. Fishing at golden spots during any other weather won’t work, meaning you’ll have to plead with the RNG gods that it’ll rain in-game so you can complete this Friendship Quest. Tip: If you’re playing via Game Pass Ultimate like me, booting up the game via Xbox Cloud Gaming takes little time and can be done anytime during the day, making it slightly easier to check how the weather is faring in the Valley.
