Disney Dreamlight Valley has many delicious dishes that you can give as gifts, sell, or consume. All you need to cook these mouth-watering dishes is a kitchen and a recipe. Sweet Herring is a dish that is not well known even though its recipe is very simple. You can earn favor points by gifting Sweet Herring to Fairy Godmother or Mickey Mouse’s dog Pluto.

Sweet Herring is a two-star Appetizer that you can cook with just two ingredients. Sweet Herring was formerly known as Marinated Herring, but recently the name of this dish has changed. To make Sweet Herring, first go to a cooking station and make sure you have all the ingredients ready. You’ll need these items to make Sweet Herring in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • 1 Herring
  • 1 Onion

As you can see, cooking Sweet Herring is extremely easy. Put these ingredients into the pot and Sweet Herring will be ready in seconds. Remember that you will need a piece of coal for the cooking process.

Herring can be caught in Dazzle Beach and Glade of Trust. You’ll need to fish herring in these areas. Luckily, the Herring is an easy fish to catch and only takes a few minutes. You can also sell it for 65-star coins. You can purchase onions from Goofy’s Stall in the Forest of Valor.

After combining all the ingredients and making Sweet Herring, you can gift it to residents of the valley who love this dish or consume it yourself for energy. Moreover, selling this dish will bring you a lot of money. You can sell Sweet Herring at any vendor for 305 star coins.

You may have seen some players state that they also use sugar cane and lemon to make Sweet Herring. Adding these two to the other ingredients will not change anything in the recipe. The result will still be the same Sweet Herring and the star value of the dish remains the same. Therefore, you can make Sweet Herring using only Herring and Onion without wasting your ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
