Meeting your coworkers is an important part of any job, even in games like The Sims 4, where players have been wondering how to do just that. One of the first things you do when you finally choose your household’s location and move in to a house is look for a job. How else are you expected to pay the bills? Though, just like how you start out without a job, you also start out without any friends, and one of the easiest places to look for friendship is when you spend 8 hours a day away from home. Keep reading to learn how to meet your coworkers in The Sims 4.

If you played The Sims 3, it was pretty normal for you to build relationships and friendships with your coworkers while at work. However, that isn’t exactly the case in The Sims 4. For the most part, in the latest version of the game, you can go through your Sim’s entire life, not knowing who they work with. That’s fine, really, because you eventually end up making your own friends through welcome parties and going to events and locations. Though, if you want to be able to meet your coworkers, there is still a way to do it.

There are a couple of ways that you can meet your coworkers in The Sims 4. One method requires you to head out on the town and speak to different people you meet in passing. Once you do this, you can ask them about their career, which is an option that can be found after selecting the Small Talk choice. This will take a while, but in the process of meeting potential coworkers, you will also be able to meet quite a few others and have loads of friends to increase your relationship with if you choose to do so.

The second way you can meet your coworkers is by clicking on your Sim’s icon after they have left for work. When you do this, you can choose to “Socialize with Coworkers” in order to build relationships with the people your Sim encounters at work. Though, it’s important to remember that this selection will lower your Sim’s work performance and distract them from their duties.

This is everything you need to know about how to meet your coworkers in The Sims 4. Be sure to check back for more useful and interesting guides, and as always, be safe and have fun!

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
