You can open the castle gate in Resident Evil 4 Remake by destroying it with the giant Cannon inside the tower. Here are the steps you need to follow.
- Go straight and reach the top of the castle.
- Once you reach the top of the castle, turn right and cross the small bridge.
- Turn left and go through the next small bridge.
- Go around the Castel tower and enter the building through the large hole. You will see a giant cannon inside this room. You can use this canon to open the castle gate in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
- Break the weighted metal to get the Cannon to the top of the tower.
- Take the exit on the other side of the room and climb the ladder on the veranda.
- Go straight and turn right once you pass the burning woods. Go around the tower and see a wooden locked door to the right.

- Shoot at caterpillars on the castle tops.
- Then, shoot the castle gate. After a few shots, the gate will be destroyed, and you can now pass through.
