Although you can progressively gain EXP as you progress through the story, you may wonder what the ideal methods to farm levels are in a short amount of time. Here are 3 of them:

Take advantage of the Send Pokémon function to reach level 100 FAST in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
One of the most efficient ways to level up in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet quickly and almost effortlessly is by using the “Send Pokémon” feature that these games have.
- Using the R button in the open world, you can send the first Pokémon on your team to battle against other wild Pokémon.
- If there are Pokémon nearby, your Pokémon will battle them to defeat them.
- For each Pokémon defeated in this way, all the Pokémon on your team get experience in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
- Depending on the Pokémon you defeat with Send Pokémon, you will gain more or less EXP.
Farm experience fast with Chansey’s trick
Another good trick to get experience fast in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is by beating wild Chansey repeatedly. This is one of the Pokémon that report the most experience each time you defeat it.
Chansey can be found in the areas of Lake Cazola, Area 2 (East), Area 1 (North), Area 2 (North), Area 3 (North), Area 6 (South), Area 2 (West), Area 3 (West) and Area 4 (South).
To perform this trick and level up in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, do the following:
- First, go to an area on the map where Chansey can be found.
- Then, open the Picnic menu and prepare a Sandwich.
- You must prepare the Ham Sandwich to get the Normal power Encounter at Lv. 1. As you level up in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll get more.
- With the power already activated, you will see that many Chansey begin to appear in the area.
- Place a Fighting Pokémon in the first position, as they are the most effective against Chansey, and defeat them one after another to get experience.
Rinse and repeat until you reach level 100 in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Collect and use Exp Candy to level up in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you can reach level 100 fast with the Exp. Candies. These items help our Pokémon gain different amounts of experience when we give them. There are candies of different sizes and are as follows:
- Exp. XS Candy: you get 100 experience points.
- Exp. Candy: you get 800 experience points.
- Exp. M Candy: you get 3,000 experience points in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
- Exp. L Candy: you get 10,000 experience points.
- Exp. XL Candy: you get 30,000 experience points.
You’ll have to eat these candies to level up in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The primary way to get these Exp candies is by performing Raid Battles in Paldea.
