Suppose you want to get Galarian Meowth. In that case, keep in mind this Pokémon can only be obtained as a gift from a character and is not available to capture in the wild, or in any other way in Paldea.
Specifically, the character who will give you Galarian Meowth is Salvatore, the Professor of Linguistics at the Academy. Still, to receive this gift, you need to win the friendship of the professor.
There are two fundamental requirements to get Galarian Meowth in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet:
- You have to attend Salvatore’s classes at the Academy and pass his exams (Salvatore’s classes and exams are unlocked by advancing in the Victory Journey and completing Gyms).
- Besides going to class, you have to interact with Salvatorewhenever he is available in different areas of the Academy.

Where to Get Galarian Meowth?

- You will also have to pass Salvatore’s two exams during the course.
- After the classes and exams, you will be able to meet Salvatorein different areas of the Academy to increase your friendship with him.
- You can find Salvatorein the following areas, in this order: the teacher’s lounge, the recreation area, the biology lab, and finally, in the teacher’s lounge again.
- During Salvatore’s little story, he will find a Pawmi, and at the end, you have to tell him to keep it.
- All these events will lead you to befriend him, and he, as a final reward, will give you a Galarian Meowth in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for your collection.
