Just like in the original Resident Evil 4, once again you will have to play as Leon and survive in a mysterious village full of enemies. But of course, you will be low on ammo, so you will need to use Knives to parry and save ammo for stronger enemies. This tactic worked great in the original. However, things are a little different in Resident Evil 4 Remake, as you will have to repair Knives.

Now you can find other Knives by exploring locations in the game. And all of them will have a certain durability. Therefore, over time, your Knives will break, and you will not be able to use them. And it is worth noting that all the Knives, except for the Combat Knife, in Resident Evil 4 Remake, break completely and disappear from the inventory.

So to repair the Knife in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you have to find the Merchant. Fortunately, these NPCs are scattered throughout the game, and you will encounter them quite often. After opening the Merchant’s Shop, you should go to the Tune Up tab, where you can upgrade your Knife and repair it. The price will vary depending on the difficulty level you are playing on and how much durability the weapon has left. For example, on normal difficulty, repairing a completely broken Knife will cost you 4000 ptas.

Therefore, you should monitor the durability of your Knives and repair them whenever possible. You can do this by opening your Attache Case. Otherwise, you will have to waste ammo on ordinary enemies. And it can reduce your chances of defeating bosses.

That’s all you need to know about how to repair Knives in Resident Evil 4 Remake. This new feature makes the gameplay more diverse. Therefore, follow our advice, and your weapons will not break.
