With such a big skill tree in Beast of Reincarnation, it is only normal for players to want a way to respec their attribute and skill points, especially since many of your early choices are permanent. Well, while the game won’t let you reset some of your points during the opening hours, or the following ones for that matter, you’ll eventually get the ability to respec in Beast of Reincarnation. If you want to know how to do it or how long it will take to unlock the feature, here we have a guide for that.
Unlocking the Respec Feature in Beast of Reincarnation
To unlock the ability to respec in Beast of Reincarnation, you will need to progress through the main scenario until you meet Mikoto. This will happen around the 10-hour mark, or probably a bit earlier, depending on the difficulty you’re playing at and whether you’re doing side content. For instance, we found this character after 7 hours.
In any case, once you meet him, defeat an enemy, and talk to him, you’ll have to return to the Cleanse Walker and interact with the phone inside it. You’ll get the option to talk to Mikoto, who can respec your skills and attributes, refunding all of your points, so you can assign them in a different order. Also, if it wasn’t clear enough, you can do this for both Emma and Koo.
Enhancing Skills

Another service that Mikoto will provide in Beast of Reincarnation, besides the ability to respec, is enhancing skills. However, this works differently. For starters, Mikoto will unlock enhancing branches of specific skills during certain moments in the story. When you meet him, you’ll only be able to enhance the skills at the top branches, which are the ones Emma and Koo start with. Once you have the extra branches, you can spend skill points to unlock additional effects, such as faster cooldowns or reduced FP cost of some abilities.
While we recommend saving your points to unlock core skills, it is also a good idea to enhance some of these, especially the ones that Koo has equipped and some of Emma’s combos, especially since the latter are extremely effective against some enemies. In any case, just remember to stick to the story and save a few skill points if you want to make some of your abilities stronger.
