In the ever-changing world of Dragon’s Dogma 2, one particular location that gets a lot of things once it’s restored is Harve Village. Initially, you might feel helping the poor fishermen thrive again is futile. Well, let me stop you right there. This is a key location of the game that’s even more important than any of the capitals. So, during your travels, be sure to take a detour to help this coastal settlement.

Located west of Vermund’s capital and southeast of Battahl and Vermund’s border, here is where you’ll find Harve Village. If you want to find it on your own, you can explore the map until you reach the location we marked above. If not, there’s an easier way to reach it and begin the long quest to restore Harve Village in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

The easiest way to reach this place is by following Captain Brant’s main quest: Culling Monsters. This will task you with defeating creatures in three different locations, one of which is Harve Village. Once you arrive, all you must do is enter Stormwind Cave, which is below the lighthouse, and eliminate the creatures nesting inside. Once that’s done, you can camp nearby, and the real fun will begin.

The Harve Village Liberation Arc

While it only has two quests, tackling them as soon as possible is important to see the settlement return to its almost former glory. Here’s what you must do:

  1. After the main quest, sleep for a day and return to Harve Village. A beastren will ask you to help them fight monsters.
  2. Defeat the monsters and return in a few in-game days.
  3. Once you arrive, you’ll defeat more monsters and see the poor beastren get kicked out of the place.
  4. At this point, the village should be up and running.

Why Is Restoring the Village So Important?

This place has more secrets than one would imagine, and it plays a pivotal role in the story. Without spoiling too much, there’s a certain NPC there who holds secrets regarding the dragon and your role as an Arisen. Furthermore, a certain character from the game will escape there, and if you want to romance her, it is better to have a safe spot for the lady. And if that wasn’t enough, you must venture into a dangerous new dungeon eventually in this place, so having a place to rest and restock is important.

While you can find this location on your own, it is better to arrive in it organically once you begin your main quests. However, the game gives you a lot of freedom to pick whatever path you prefer, so don’t be afraid to explore the map and stumble upon it by yourself.
