What Is Sacrifice in Cult of the Lamb?
As we said, Cult of the Lamb has a lot of tools to manage your followers. One of them is Rituals. Each Ritual can give you or your flock bonuses. Or help get rid of bad followers, through Sacrifice. Luckily, Cult of the Lamb has a very handy Sacrifice of the Flesh Ritual.
As the name implies, during this Ritual you can Sacrifice your follower to the true God. For this, you will get points to upgrade your crown and all that is left of the victim, namely Bones and Follower Meat. However, your followers will not like it, so you will lose 10 Faith. Fortunately, it can be fixed by selecting the Belief in Sacrifice trait in the Afterlife tab. This Ritual will help you fight more effectively during your crusades. In addition, you can get rid of old followers who are about to die.
How to Unlock Sacrifice of the Flesh
Sacrifice of the Flesh is a very important Ritual for progression in Cult of the Lamb. Therefore, it is not surprising that you can unlock it during the Crusades. To be more precise, you need to defeat the second mini-boss, after which you can meet with The One Who Waits. The true God will reward you for your efforts and teach you a new Ritual. However, to conduct it, you will also need 75 Bones in addition to the follower. After that, you have to wait 7 days to use this Ritual again.
