Developers add updates to Palia very often. Each of them brings new content to the game that will make you want to spend even more time in Kilima Valley. For example, Patch 0.172 added many new customization options to Palia, Starstones, and Rummage Piles. The latter can be quite easily missed. But we do not recommend that you do this since they contain unique crafting recipes and even quest items. But to get them, you must learn how to scavenge Rummage Piles in Palia.
Where To Find Rummage Piles in Palia
The world of Palia is filled with diverse life. Even small animals such as Chapaas affect this world. The new update will allow you to become better acquainted with the habits of these cute furry creatures. They are like raccoons that love to find trash and put it in Rummage Piles in Palia.
You can find these Piles made of earth or various sticks throughout Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay. Be especially careful around dirt piles, as these Rummage Piles are the most hidden. Having found one of them, you need to go up and press the F button to scavenge Rummage Piles in Palia.
You can get new rewards, including Quest items added in Patch 0.172. However, it is worth noting that you cannot quickly scavenge all Piles. Unfortunately, the game limits you to scavenging no more than one Rummage Pile per day. And we mean a real day. Only after the day has ended, which happens at 8:00 PM PT or 4:00 AM UTC, will you be able to interact with Rummage Piles again.
What You Can Find in Rummage Piles
Finding one Rummage Pile in Palia every day seems like a pretty necessary task. Nevertheless, it is worth all your efforts since Chapaas hid a random decor recipe from the new set in each of the Piles. The set is called Kilima Rummage Piles and consists of 9 unique items. In addition to recipes, players can find 5 new Quest items. But you will need at least 14 days to get them all.
That’s all you need to know about how to Scavenge Rummage Piles in Palia. This new mechanic will introduce you closer to the nature of the game world and reward you with free decor recipes. In the meantime, please look at our guide on finding and catching Red-Bellied Piranha.
