After defeating the second boss, Abaddon, you must continue your journey through the abandoned ruins. Unfortunately, there is a sea between Eve and the Hall of Records. Adam suggests riding a monorail to reach their destination, but the two realize there’s no power. While you don’t need to hunt for a power source, you must solve a puzzle to activate the monorail in Stellar Blade. Although the puzzle looks simple, some players may get stuck in this section since the game only gives short but unhelpful explanations.

Stellar Blade Monorail Power Puzzle Solution

In order to activate the monorail in Stellar Blade, you must supply powers to the rail between Areas One and Two. Although there are six slots, only four power cells can be used. Each battery has a different capacity, with eight bars being the highest.

If you place a power cell between two empty bars, then it will use its energy to power those two. For example, placing the eight-power cells into the second slot will give four energy to the first and second bars.

Here is the solution to the monorail power puzzle in Stellar Blade:

  • Slot 1: 3
  • Slot 2: 8
  • Slot 3: Empty
  • Slot 4: 6
  • Slot 5: Empty
  • Slot 6: 1

After you solve the power puzzle, you can head back up and go to the terminal to activate the monorail. Although the screen has six destinations, you can only go to one location. When you step inside, there will be a cutscene showing Eve remembering her past.

The monorail will automatically leave the station once you arrive at your destination in Stellar Blade. Don’t worry; you can still call it back using the terminal. You can also visit a large camp and use the fast-travel machine to visit previous zones.
