Ethereal Manor Puzzle Solution in Remnant 2: The Awakened King
To initiate the event, you will need to find a man sitting on a chair in Sunken Haunt or Derelict Lighthouse, one of the new locations available in the DLC. He is in the library, so go inside the building and go up to the 2nd floor to interact with him. As soon as you approach the man, he will jump out of his chair, grab you, and shout “Wake up!”, which will initiate the start of the puzzle.
So, now you are stuck in Ethereal Manor, with a man who will repeat the same thing every time you approach him. To complete this Groundhog Day, you’ll need to avoid the man. Instead, pay attention to the surrounding environment. There will be 5 doors around and 4 of them will contain the man. Behind the other door, there will be a Strange Talisman quest item, which will later turn into a Bloody Talisman.
Your main goal will be to collect this talisman 5 times in a row, avoiding the sitting man. The problem is that if you complete a part of the task but run into the man, he will rush at you again asking you to wake up, thus starting the puzzle completely over. So, to avoid this, there are 2 methods you can use to find the talisman:
- Look through the window on the door to see the room before you enter. If you see a man sitting inside, do not go in.
- If you are playing as an Explorer Archetype and have unlocked the Fortune Hunter skill, you can use it. Thus, you can highlight the quest item and figure out behind which door it is located.
Then you just should choose the right door 4 times to find the talisman. When you open the door correctly for the fifth time, you will find the Death-Soaked Idol, which will be the reward and also complete this puzzle.
