Assassin’s Creed Mirage does a fantastic job at letting players approach their contracts as they want. One of the first you’ll get is the First Order mission, which tasks Basim with killing Al-Ghul, the first member of the Order you’ll find. While the amount of options to approach this might be overwhelming, there are a few things you can do to make the contract much easier. For that, we’ve prepared a guide with the best path to stealth kill Al-Ghul fast in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Al-Ghul Contract Guide

Al-Ghul is the first Templar you’ll encounter in the game as he arrives at the Caravanserai in Baghdad. While this isn’t the biggest of places, there are some better ways to enter it before you can eliminate this foe. For that, we recommend you follow these steps if you want to eliminate Al-Ghul fast in Assassin’s Creed Mirage:

Find the Caravansera’s Secret Entrance

  • The secret entrance is on the right side of the building.

After finishing the initial cutscene for the First Order mission, you’ll face the front entrance to the Caravanserai. Instead of going there, head to the right side of the building until you find a body of water. The map will mark the secret entrance with an icon, letting you dive to infiltrate the Caravanserai.

Find the Slaves

  • If you used the secret entrance, turn left to find the slaves.

To lure Al-Ghul out, you need a distraction. The easiest one is by freeing the slaves. To find them, hug the left wall after emerging from the diving spot. There, you’ll spot an orange icon signaling an opportunity. Following the said icon will lead you to a group of slaves who agree to help if you steal their contract from their master. As mentioned, this is the easiest way to lure the enemy out.

Find the Merchant

  • There are several merchants inside the complex. Keep talking to them until you find the one with the slaves’ contract.

After speaking to the slaves, activate your Eagle Vision to mark the possible merchants. The game doesn’t make it easy for you, as you’ll need to talk to several merchants before finding the one with the contract. After speaking with a few, you’ll find the right one. In our case, we found it on the west side of the complex; it’s uncertain if this will change for everyone.

Once Basim realizes this merchant has the contract, wait for it to turn around and pickpocket it by pressing Triangle or Y.

Return to the Slaves

Once you have the contract, return it to the slaves so they can free themselves. This will cause commotion inside the complex, luring Al-Ghul out. While there are other ways to get his attention, we recommend this path. Others will require you to use tokens, but it’s much better to try this as you won’t have many opportunities to get the required currency to cause other distractions.

Get To The Roof

  • From the secret entrance, turn right toward the flight of stairs.

After the commotion, Al-Ghul will exit his room and head to the balcony. He will also summon a few guards around this area, but they aren’t hard to take down. From the diving spot that lets you enter this place, head toward the right, and you’ll see a flight of stairs. Follow them until you reach the rooftop; in front of the exit, you’ll spot a vantage point to let you position yourself for the kill.

Assassinate Al-Ghul

  • Head to the vantage point to get a good look at Al-Ghul.

Once you’ve followed the above steps, all you must do is head to the vantage point marked by an orange skull icon. From there, you’ll get a good spot to jump down on Al-Ghul and assassinate him, finishing your first Assassin contract.

First Order Quest Guide Summary

To summarize everything, we’ve also prepared a short version of the steps you must follow to take this target down:

  1. After the initial cutscene, head to the right side of the building.
  2. Find the body of water with a secret entrance leading to the complex.
  3. Head left after emerging to find the slaves and accept their quest.
  4. Find the merchant with the slaves’ contract and steal it.
  5. Return to the slaves to free them; this will lure Al-Ghul out.
  6. From the secret entrance, head to the right to find the stairs leading to the roof.
  7. Find the vantage point to assassinate Al-Ghul.
