Keeping up with the Summer of gaming festivities, now’s the turn for Ubisoft games to make an appearance. Today’s presentation brought many surprises, including a release date for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and brand-new gameplay for Star Wars Outlaws. Yet, fans of the legendary Assassin’s Creed saga saw new gameplay from the new Mirage game during Ubisoft Forward. This upcoming title brands itself as a return to the franchise’s roots, and after watching this new gameplay trailer, it looks like it. If you’re tired of the RPG-esque themes from recent titles, this new game returns most of what we love from the series’ first games.
New 8-Minute Gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Mirage Shown at Ubisoft Forward
Today’s show was a great one for players who’ve been waiting for Assassin’s Creed to return to its roots. After watching the trailer, many could say this game is a love letter to the series’ first titles. From the style to the gameplay, Assassin’s Creed Mirage showed it is looking to earn fans back with this game. Yet, we’ll have to wait for the game’s full release to see all the systems it has and if it truly delivers the original experience we all love.

We saw many iconic things from the series during the new Assassin’s Creed Mirage gameplay at Ubisoft Forward. Ways to blend among the crowds, several gadgets to distract enemies, iconic assassination moves, and more. Yes, there were some strange abilities, which might get an explanation once the game launches. Aside from that, many things look fantastic, and it seems Ubisoft is once more giving players the freedom to approach targets as they see fit.
