How To Survive (& Defeat) Bunker Spider in Lethal Company

Don’t touch its web.

This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Although Lethal Company will pit you against many creatures, some aren’t as lethal as they look. That includes the Bunker Spider. Now, while this enemy is much more dangerous than the Spore Lizard (since it can kill you), it’s also much weaker than a Thumper. Importantly, it won’t aggro unless you fall into its web. Put simply, despite its frightening appearance, the Bunker Spider has more weaknesses than advantages, so here’s how to survive an encounter with one.

First, it is worth noting that Bunker Spiders are local monsters in Lethal Company that create their nests in random locations inside buildings. They will not attack players and will sit peacefully on the wall if you do not enter their territory. But how do you know where their boundaries are? Put simply, the more web, the closer the enemy. Like their real-life counterparts, the Bunker Spider places a sticky web around its nest to know about the location of enemies and catch food.

If you hit the web, the Bunker Spider will immediately know your location and head towards you. In this case, you should break the web with just one hit with a melee weapon. Destroy several webs around to avoid getting tangled in the future, and retreat as quickly as possible. Bunker Spider will soon reach you and can kill you.

Of course, the speed of the Bunker Spider is a little lower than that of the players, but if you stay, a few hits from this enemy will kill you. Look for the stairs, wide rooms, or rooms with shelves to give you more space to maneuver. Although we recommend not touching the web unless necessary if the spider notices you, the best solution is to kill it.

How To Kill Bunker Spider & Is It Worth It

Yes, you can kill a Bunker Spider with just a few hits with a melee weapon, and that is what you should do in most cases. Firstly, you can find Scraps around in the room with this enemyโ€™s nests. And secondly, you cannot be sure you will not hit the web again. So, even if the enemy retreats, you must run away again.

As we said earlier, the habits and weaknesses of Bunker Spider are similar to Thumper, except that the spider is much slower. So, to kill it, you can use one of the following strategies:

  • If you are playing as a team, the player who hits the web must distract the spider while the other player attacks the enemy from behind.
  • The second way is to run to any table, railing, or pile of pallets and jump on them. Like a Thumper, Bunker Spider cannot attack players who are taller than it. And given the low speed of this enemy, killing a spider is more of a beating than a battle with a bloodthirsty monster.
