If Genshin Impact Travelers are looking to farm the new Desert Pavilion Chronicle and Flower of Paradise Lost Artifact Sets for their units, they will need to gain access to a Domain of Blessing known as the City of Gold. The Desert Pavilion Chronicle Artifacts is capable of bolstering Anemo DMG Bonus and providing various buffs for one’s Attacks. As a result, this Artifact Set is perfect for burst Anemo DPS units like the Wanderer, Xiao, or Shikanoin Heizou. Conversely, the Flower of Paradise Lost boosts specific elemental reactions and buffs Elemental Mastery, benefits suitable for support characters like Nahida, Kokomi, or Kuki Shinobu.
Unlocking the City of Gold Domain in Genshin Impact
Fortunately, no challenging quest or exploration prerequisites are required to access the new City of Gold Domain in Genshin Impact. As long as players have access to the region of Sumeru, they will be able to travel to the Domain’s location and interact with the gate to enter. Sumeru becomes accessible once fans have completed the Inazuman Archon questline.

According to YouTuber Deku Danu, players can reach the Domain of Blessing: City of Gold in Genshin Impact by going to the fast-travel Waypoint far north of Aaru Village and west of the Caravan Ribat settlement. The Domain’s entrance is located within the large chasm where the sizeable ruins of Khaj-Nisut can be found. Accordingly, go to the specified Waypoint and go northward, dropping down the ridge shelves leading into the canyon below. Carefully glide downward, making sure the player character has enough Stamina to make the trip without a fatal fall.
If players glide down to the ground level of Khaj-Nisut and investigate the upper-right corner of the canyon, they will find the entrance to the City of Gold in Genshin Impact. As mentioned above, no prerequisites are required to unlock its gate; fans can simply approach the door and use the interact button to enter the instance. The Genshin Impact Wiki states that players will need to defeat a variety of Slimes and Fungi enemies within a 5-minute timeframe to clear the Domain. These enemies include Grounded Geoshrooms, Pyro Slimes, Hydro Slimes, Grounded Hydroshrooms, Whirling Electro Fungus, and Winged Cryoshroom.
Genshin Impact is available on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
