Our favorite hedgehog is back in town! Sonic Frontiers is here! While the reviews are not as great as God of War Ragnarok, which launches tomorrow, this hasn’t stopped people from having fun. In this new take on the whole Sonic formula, we have our blue hedgehog running around a big open world. However, if you feel that Sonic is still going a bit slow, there is also Sonic Frontiers fast travel unlock. As with every other open-world game, it is important to give players the chance to travel even faster to other locations. And, while you can enjoy running around with Sonic, we do agree that the world tends to get a bit repetitive. So, don’t worry because here we’ll tell you how to unlock fast travel in the game.
Unlocking Sonic Frontiers Fast Travel
Right now, there are two ways to unlock the fast travel mechanic in Sonic Frontiers. It is a bit different from other titles that we have seen before. While in games like Assassin’s Creed, all you have to do is climb a big building, and that’s it; you get a new fast travel point. Well, Sonic Frontiers’ fast travel takes a bit more time. So, to get started with the Sonic Frontiers fast travel unlock, first, you need to do is complete the map challenges and find the ancient switches. Doing so will let you travel to the specific location where you’ve finished the challenges and switches.

For the second bit, it can also be grindy, but it is a bit more relaxing. The second Sonic Frontiers fast travel unlock method involves fishing. Once you’ve gathered purple coins, you need to take them to Big the Cat. He will then introduce you to fishing. While doing this activity, you might come across a Koco Scroll. Said scroll will let you travel to Elder Coco or Hermit. As you can see, this step might take more time, but it is still a good way to work on Sonic Frontiers‘ fast travel. And there you have it! One of the many mechanics and features the game has to offer. Players are happy with the formula so far, but we’ll have to wait and see what else the game has for us to discover. If you haven’t, make sure to check the prologue for the game, which talks about the story of Sonic Frontiers.
