You can unlock Lachmann Shroud in MW2 and Warzone 2 to add a new member to the Lachmann family. This new SMG has been recently added to the game in Season 5 Reloaded. And it looks very much like the good old MP5 from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. However, unlocking this weapon requires completing a set of challenges, and we’re about to dive into its details here.
Unlock Lachmann Shroud Challenges
Get 15 operator Kills with a Melee weapon
You can accomplish this challenge by using a Combat Knife. It’s because the Combat Knife kills the enemy operators with one stab only. And you can complete this challenge in under 10 minutes by playing the Shipment 24/7 in MW2. You’ll unlock the Pickaxe Melee weapon by completing this challenge.
Get 3 operator kills without dying 20 times
This challenge is tricky if you want to complete it in Warzone. But if you’re a MW2 player, then you just have to bring in your best loadout and play safe by not rushing all the time. You’ll unlock a 30-minute weapon double XP token by clearing this challenge.

Get 15 operator headshot kills with Pistols
You can unlock the new 9mm Daemon Pistol by getting 15 headshots in MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded. The new pistol is worth the shot, and you’ll have to get it anyway if you want to unlock the Lachmann Shroud.
Get 20 operator longshot kills
This is probably the hardest challenge to complete in MW2. We used the loadout above with an SA-B Marksman Rifle to get longshot kills in various maps in MW2. But if you manage to use Sniper Rifles with explosive rounds in Warzone 2, you’ll complete this challenge quickly in a few matches.
Just like the previous MW2 and Warzone 2 Season, there’s now a new sector on the Battle Pass for the new weapons. Season 5 Reloaded has brought three new tools into the game, each from a different weapon class. Now, if you look at the E0 sector on the Season 5 Reloaded battle pass map, you’ll see all these weapons and their challenges.
However, you should note that in order to reach the Lachmann Shroud unlock challenge, you have to complete all the mentioned tasks above. Each of the four challenges in this sector will give you a solid reward, like the brand new Daemon Pistol, unlockable and upgradable after achieving 15 operator kills with a Pistol.
How To Unlock Lachmann Shroud
You can unlock the Lachmann Shroud by getting 30 hip-fire kills in MW2 and Warzone 2. This challenge can be easily completed in MW2 by playing the Shipment 24/7. But if you’re a Warzone 2 player, you can finish this objective by playing the resurgence maps. After that, you’ll have the new Lachmann SMG at your service!
