Want to unlock Mad Chainsaw Mode In Resident Evil 4 Demo? We’ll teach you how in this guide.

Capcom recently released a demo for the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 re-release. The “Chainsaw Demo” offers a taste of the game’s opening sequence. It gives players an idea of what to expect from the entire game. The demo is short, clocking in at only 15 minutes. Still, you can replay it as many times as you like.

However, if you’ve already completed it, you may want to try again, as there’s reportedly a secret difficulty mode called “Mad Chainsaw Mode.” This mode amps up the difficulty by increasing enemy health, making villagers more aggressive, and boosting Dr. Salvador’s chainsaw with flames. While the mode only applies to a single playthrough, it’s a fun challenge for players looking for an extra thrill. Note that this mode is demo-exclusive and won’t be in the final game. Still, a hard difficulty option could be patched in post-release.

Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Mode

As previously mentioned, Mad Chainsaw mode is a more challenging game version. You’ll be pitted against more potent and faster enemies, who are more challenging to defeat. If you make it to the end of the level, you’ll face the Chainsaw Man (aka Dr. Salvador), who wields a flaming chainsaw and is more challenging to beat than in the normal mode.

If you die in Mad Chainsaw mode, you’ll need to start the game again and keep repeating the process until the mode triggers. To avoid this, follow these tips to increase your chances of success: steer clear of enemies as much as possible before facing Dr. Salvador. Scavenge for supplies to ensure you have enough ammo to take him down.

Resident Evil 4 is available on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox Series X platforms.
