If there’s something that Tears of the Kingdom isn’t lacking on is mind-puzzling challenges — and North Lomei Labyrinth and Mayaotaki Shrine might be the biggest of them all. You’re thrown into a gigantic labyrinth plagued with Gloom, an incomprehensible language, and a bunch of Hylian Pine Cone on the floor. As you keep losing hearts until you die over and over, you just hope something at the center makes going through all this trouble worth it. Here’s how to unlock Mayaotake Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
North Lomei Labyrinth & Mayaotaki Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom
Go to North Lomei Labyrinth, located east of the Hebra Mountains. At the entrance of the labyrinth, you will find a camp. This camp will give you the necessary information to learn the mechanism to help you survive in this labyrinth.
You will see a couple of logs when you enter the labyrinth to the left of the main corridor. If you combine Flint with Wood, a fire will form. And if you throw a Hylian Pine Cone at it, the flame will be fanned and cause a strong wind to blow upwards for a while. You must use this blast to fly over the Gloom plaguing the maze. You will find a lot of Hylian Pine Cone inside the maze, but we recommend bringing your own Flint and Wood to light the fire. Remember, Tears of the Kingdom‘s Mayaotaki Shrine await at the center.
Another way to evade the Gloom is through the less covered spaces on the ground. You can also climb the walls and fly with the help of the Paraglider over the Gloom. If you have a lot of hearts, you can cross over without a problem. But be careful not to lose every last one of them.

You can use these same techniques to get to the second camp. The third camp is on the second floor. To get to it, you will have to climb two stairs. ne is on the wall, in the middle of two pillars with bright lights on your sides. Once you reach the top, you will recognize the other one on the left after crossing the corridor.
From the third camp, you will see the center of the labyrinth and the Mayaotaki Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom. Jump to the second floor, and once you are on the stage grid, you must shoot the giant iceberg. A good idea is to use your arrows fused with Fire Fruit. Use at least 5 to melt it.
When you finally melt that iceberg, you will see the portal that will take you to Mayaotaki Shrine. Get through with courage and open the chest with a diamond. There isn’t really anything to do inside the shrine, so get ready to receive your well-deserved Light of Blessing.
