What’s a fighting game without the ability to unlock new and different characters and finding out which one will be your main one? In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, you’re not just able to unlock new characters; you’re able to unlock characters like SpongeBob, Ember, Jenny Wakeman, and more! Unlocking them in this game is pretty easy. To make it even easier, we outlined how to unlock each of the game’s 25 characters below.

As you progress through the campaign mode, you will naturally fight against mind-controlled enemies. Once defeated, these different characters will join your roster for you to play the next time in the campaign. Each of the characters is as follows:

  1. SpongeBob
  2. Patrick
  3. Squidward
  4. Mecha Plankton
  5. El Tigre
  6. Rocko
  7. Jimmy Neutron
  8. Lucy Loud
  9. Angry Beavers
  10. Garfield
  11. Aang
  12. Korra
  13. Azula
  14. Raphael
  15. Donatello
  16. April
  17. Danny Phantom
  18. Ember
  19. Granma Gertie
  20. Gerald
  21. Nigel
  22. Zim
  23. Jenny Wakeman
  24. Reptar
  25. Ren & Stimpy

The characters are already auto-unlocked right from the beginning of the game in every available mode otherwise. The campaign mode offers a story that provides you with a more concrete obtainment and story progression. You’ll be able to play with any character in multiplayer at any time, but you’ll have to wait to actually fight and unlock them if you’re trying to use them in the campaign mode.

If characters are to be added post-launch, they will be updated into your roster as playable characters, meaning that you won’t need to worry about unlocking them. We really hope that they’ll add more Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra characters in the future!

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.
