If you want to make an Apple recipe, learn how to unlock Pupunke Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. In the kingdom of Hyrule, some shrines challenge your logic; in others, you must demonstrate your speed or sense of direction. In fact, some shrines release a radiant light that can be seen from afar, and their location is easier to find. Others, like the Pupunke Shrine, are not so visible since they are missing their green aura. To restore them to their majestic, spiral-shaped glory, you must give a green rock as an offering.

Pupunke Shrine is north of Central Hyrule, east of the Great Hyrule Forest. To unlock the shrine, you must head southwest from its location, following the path indicated by the green light emanating from it first to get a green rock. The fastest way to reach it is to start your path from the inside of the Korok Forest.

To unlock Pupunke Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you must start the quest “A Pretty Stone And Five Golden Apples.” This quest begins in Korok Forest, where you’ll find tiny Korok Damia. She will trade a green stone for five golden apples.

  1. Travel to Satori Mountain, specifically near the Sonapan Shrine.
  2. Locate the Golden Apple among the fruit trees on Satori Mountain. Be careful, as there are common apples as well. Look for a distinctive golden hue.
  3. Use a sharp weapon to break the tree trunks, causing the Golden Apples to fall to the ground.
  4. Collect at least five Golden Apples from the fallen trees.
  5. Return to Korok Forest and deliver the Five Golden Apples to Damia.
  6. Utilize your Ultrahand ability to move the green stone from Damia to Pupunke Shrine.
  7. Place the Green Rock in the designated spot to unlock the Pupunke Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

Inside Pupunke Shrine, open the chest to obtain the Mighty Zonaite Sword, a powerful weapon that will aid you on your journey through Tears of the Kingdom. Head to the end of the shrine to get an extra Light of Blessing.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
