Dead Cells is one of the best Metroidvania indie games that was released in 2018. Recently, a new DLC has been released for the game where you will go on another adventure in Castlevania. Richter Belmont is one of the characters from Symphony of the Night that makes an appearance in Return to Castlevania DLC as well. So here is how to unlock Richter Mode in Dead Cells Return to Castlevania.

How to Unlock Richter Mode in Dead Cells Return to Castlevania

Return to Castlevania is mostly inspired by Symphony of the Night, which is considered to be the best Castlevania game by many gamers. While there are many resemblances between the original and this DLC, you can also play Richter Belmont in the Richter Mode, but first, you have to unlock it.

You won’t have access to Richter Mode until you’ve passed half of the content of this DLC and also fought Death. Then in your second run, you have to go to the true Darcula’s Castle by using the Clock Tower.

As you navigate through this location, keep an eye on the huge hourglass, which is a secret door that leads to Richter Belmont. Then you have to free him, but he doesn’t do anything for now.

On your third run, make your way back to the true Dracula’s Castle and go back to the secret hourglass room. This time, when you go near the cage, you’ll get a door prompt that will directly take you to the Richter Mode.

In this mode, you will play as Richter Belmont with some significant changes compared to The Beheaded. In this mode, you have to make your way through a remixed version of Dracula’s Castle.

If you complete this mode with Richter Belmont, you will unlock Richter’s outfit and can use it whenever you want. That is how you can unlock the Richter Mode as well as unlock Richter Belmont’s outfit for later use.

Dead Cells Return to Castlevania is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
