Version 4.6 added many surprises, and one of the biggest was Arlecchino’s arrival. Beyond being a playable character, we also got her Weekly Boss version, The Knave. Those eager to challenge the fourth Fatui Harbinger in Genshin Impact should know this fight brought many achievements, such as Brighter Than White. This achievement belongs to the Challenger: Series IX category, which includes several of Fontaine’s bosses that you must face. If you want to complete this challenge, you must face “Father” and take a few extra steps to avoid feeling the wrath of this Harbinger.
Genshin Impact: Brighter Than White Achievement Guide
Unlocking and challenging The Knave Weekly Boss is no small feat. You must reach AR 40 and unlock the Ignis Purgatorius Chapter: Act 1, Arlecchino’s story quest. I recommend unlocking Fontaine to allow easy access to the location. The good news is that you don’t need to complete all of Fontaine’s Archon Quests. Even if it has a few nods to the main scenario, you won’t miss anything by doing The Knave’s quest first and setting Fontaine’s plot aside for a while. You can unlock it with the Story Keys in the quest menu under legendary quests. Once you have it, prepare for one of the most epic fights in this region.
Once inside the fight, you must pay attention to one of her chore mechanics: Bond of Life. To get the Brighter Than White achievement, you must avoid every attack she throws at you when this skill is active. If you’re hit once, say goodbye to your chance of unlocking the achievement, at least for a while. I recommend saving all your stamina for this phase so you can run around the arena dodging all attacks. Since her moves work better at close range, you can run far away from her, stick to the edge of the arena, and wait for the Bond of Life effect to pass.
In the unlucky case you get hit by any of her attacks during this phase, you can always try again. However, if you’re aiming for this achievement during your first run, you better practice those dodging abilities. If you have characters like Yae Miko or Ayaka, you can use her elemental skill to dodge some attacks. Regardless of who you bring, one thing’s for sure: this is one heck of a fight, so prepare your team ahead of it.
