Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and the new Warzone 2 battle royale‘s Season 1: Reloaded are now live. Like any other seasonal updates, the game is adding various new content. One of the most anticipated weapons from the update is the M13B Assault Rifle, the fan-favorite rifle that’s coming as part of the Bruen Ops Weapon Platform. To get a hold of this high-fire-rate and low-recoil piece of a gun, here’s how you can unlock the M13B Assault Rifle in COD: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
Unlock M13B in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2
There are two ways that you can unlock the M13B Assault Rifle: by completing the DMZ Weapon Unlock Challenge or spending some real-world cash through the Store Bundle.
If you are looking for a challenge, then the M13B DMZ Weapon Unlock Challenge states that you need to defeat The Chemist AI boss in the Radiation Zone of the DMZ mode and loot his body to extract the Weapon Blueprint. Nevertheless, Infinity Ward and Activision have yet to specify whether your whole team will acquire the Blueprint or only the one who grabbed it got it. Only the one who Exfilled while holding the Blueprint will get the M13B rifle; however, someone else can drop the Blueprint for another player and immediately Exfill from the map in order to unlock it.
Meanwhile, those who don’t want to can get it from a Store Bundle, along with Operator skins, cosmetics, sprays, and others. Considering how the previous Warzone‘s Store Bundle work, this one will probably also cost you 2,400 COD Points.
After grabbing M13B Assault Rifle from one of those two methods, the gun will be available in the Gunsmith 2.0 feature of both COD: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer mode as well as Warzone 2. As part of the Season 1: Reloaded mid-season update, another Assault Rifle — the high energy .300 BLK rounds Chimera — will also come to the Bruen Ops Weapon Platform. Aside from the Assault Rifles, you can unlock the BAS-P SMG from Bruen Ops as well.
