Assembling work tables and items from the diagrams that you receive in My Time at Sandrock is the backbone of the entire game. There comes a point, however, where you need to upgrade your Assembly Station, the workstation necessary to build out your diagrams, in order to make bigger and better projects. The Assembly Station was provided to you at the beginning of the game when you first got to your house, meaning that you didn’t need a diagram to build it. Considering that, upgrading it isn’t the same as how it would be if you were trying to upgrade something like the Grinder or the Blender.

How To Get The Intermediate Assembly Station In My Time At Sandrock

To upgrade the Assembly Station to the Intermediate Assembly Station, you need to follow these instructions:

  1. Head to Construction Junction and look through their catalog.
    • Alternatively, you can open the Home Editing Toolkit if you have one.
  2. Go to the Structure category at the bottom left corner.
  3. Select the Assembly Station option.
  4. Select the Upgrade option.

To actually upgrade the Assembly Station to the Intermediate Assembly Station, you need to use the following materials:

  • 1,500 Gols
  • Five Steel Bars
  • Ten Bronze Plates
  • Five Microchips

To upgrade it to the Advanced Assembly Station, you need the following materials:

  • 3,000 Gols
  • Ten Chromium Steel Plates
  • Ten Magnesium Aluminum Alloys
  • Four Processors
  • Two Gravity Motors

In the story, you aren’t going to really need the Intermediate Assembly Station until you start the mission titled Recipe For Fun. You’ll need to make a Sandrunning Kiosk in order to have the Sandrunning grand opening and bring some happiness to the town. With that information, try to build one before you need it since most of the resources you’ll need are ones you’ll be running into pretty often anyway.

My Time at Sandrock is now available on PC, Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.
